Mr Loy performed a sleeve gastrectomy on me only eight weeks ago and I just would like to thank him for being so kind and understanding and allowing me to have this operation which is in the process of changing not only my eating habits but also my life. I found him to be a great Consultant and Surgeon, easy to talk to and very supportive. I feel lucky to have had him as my surgeon and my grateful thanks go to him and his supportive team at the RSH for what they have done so far to help me and the support they continue to give me on my weight loss journey.

Mr Loy is just fab.. he listens to you ..he puts you mind at rest with his relaxed way.. he seems to understand what your going through and he encourages you. So glad I took this step to change my life around and I'm so glad I met Mr Loy who has given me the tool to succeed . His Irish broge also helps lol

mr Loy is not only an amazing surgeon but one of the nicest people i have ever met, he performed a gastric sleeve on me in july and totally changed my life. hes easy to talk to and always made me smile even when i was scared i highly recommend him to anyone and i cant thank him enough.

Mr Loy is an outstanding Doctor/Consultant. He operated on me in March, although it was a fairly big operation Mr Loy and his team provided me with nothing other than 5* care. I would absolutely recommend him!

After being diagnosed six months ago with pancreatitis my quality of life reached an all time crushing low. Having spoke to various consultants it became almost inevitable that the condition could not be cured. The best it seemed that could be done was to manage the intense pain as best as possible. It was the news that I had dreaded hearing. I was then refered to Mr.Loy and everything changed. From the outset, he was absolutely adamant that he cure the condition and put an end to the months of pain and severe weight loss I had been the victim off. He was extremely confident, professional and empathetic and stood by his word to get me operated on as soon as possible. His exact words were "You have suffered enough and I am going to help you get better". I was touched by his humanity and for the first time started believing that I could get my old life back.. It's been four weeks since the operation and I am so happy to report that I have got my old life back! I feel humbled to have met such a great man who really does go the extra mile and exceeds the patients expectations. There can no be greater than saving somebody's life. Thank you so much, it's a debt than can never be repaid but will forever be remembered.
